Netflix Inc. (NFLX) said the new series "Lilyhammer" will be available for Netflix subscribers exclusively next month, marking the streaming video and DVD-rental company's latest push to provide original content as it looks to compete with cable companies.

Six Flags unveils $250 mln stock buyback plan

Six Flags Entertainment Corp.'s SIX board authorized an additional $250 million in share buybacks, as the theme-park operator became the latest company to make shareholder-friendly moves. Shares were up 2% at $42.11 in recent trading amid a broad market upturn. The stock is up 54% in the past year.

Priceline unit to run Overstock’s travel site

Overstock.com Inc. OSTK continues to broaden its services, launching a new travel website, O.co Travel, that will be run by Priceline.com Inc.'s PCLN Priceline Partner Network. Overstock is in the midst of rebranding itself as O.co. The company, which already competes with websites such as Amazon.com Inc.

Worthington buys Angus Industries for $180 mln

Worthington Industries Inc. (WOR) paid $180 million in cash to acquire a manufacturer of parts for heavy mobile equipment, a deal that delivers a new manufacturing segment to the steel-processing and metal-products company.

Wells Fargo cuts power firms to market perform

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Wells Fargo on Tuesday cut its rating on NextEra Energy , Public Service Enterprise Group Inc. and Southern Co. to market perform from outperform. The move came as analysts trimmed their longer-term earnings estimates for several diversified power companies because, "the current valuations do not adequatley reflect the recent deterioration in the fundamental outlook." Analyst cited a drop in power prices since October in the wake of lower natural gas costs.
